Meet the team

The team at The Bristol Body Repair Clinic is small but perfectly formed. We are all qualified and highly experienced in providing the highest quality of care in a clinical setting. The team consists of an injury therapist, pitchside sports therapist and massage therapists who are able to provide injury diagnosis, massage and rehabilitation sessions.

Chris Linthwaite
Lead Physiotherapist

I am Chris, the Lead Physiotherapist at The Bristol Body Repair Clinic.

I have extensive experience with both general and sports injuries having worked in the NHS and in professional sport. During my time at Bristol Rovers I gained valuable experience working with senior players and the best way to rehabilitate their injuries. I also worked closely with the academy set up, treating players aged 8-18 and adapting my treatment for the younger athletes.

I also have a wealth of experience treating non sports related injuries and pain having worked in the NHS for over 9 years. Chris’ degree in both Physiotherapy and Nursing means he is an excellent clinician to see from the age of 8 to 90.

I am a proud Cornish man and enjoy heading back home for some coasteering off the Cornish coast. I also enjoy travelling, last year I spent 4 months exploring in Southern Asia.

Harvey Maggs
Injury Therapist

Hi, I’m Harvey, the Injury Therapist here at The Bristol Body Repair Clinic. I am a graduate in Sports Therapy from the University of Worcester in 2022 and since then have been building and developing my experience.
I have had the privilege to work in different teams, helping both with sports and non-sports related injuries. During both my studies and post-graduation, I have worked in many different environments, including football and netball teams and academies with the Kidderminster Harriers and Worcester Severn Stars. I have also supported events like the London Marathon and assisted touring teams like the USA Women’s Rugby Squad.
Since graduating, I have been working in both Rugby and a Clinic, treating people of different ages and backgrounds. Whether it has been massage, pitch-side first aid or rehabilitation support, I have been able to apply my passion for my career and sport into helping people be pain-free and get back to what they want to be doing.
I have a big passion for sports, having played a variety of sports throughout my life. I have played both cricket and rugby for many years and am grateful to represent my clubs at different levels. I have now started training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which has been an amazing new challenge for me.

Hello! Welcome to The Bristol Body Repair Clinic. I am Stacey, the founder of the clinic and sports and remedial massage therapist.

I passionately believe in the benefits of sports and remedial massage to enable you to function optimally and pain free (pain is not normal!!) whether that be on a sports field, at a desk, in water or just in day to day life. I am experienced in treating a range of clients (sporty and not).

Following my degree in Sport & Biomedical Science, I worked as a personal trainer before moving into the world of sports development. The day job (whilst in sport) moved me away from my love of the science of the human body. I qualified as a Sports & Remedial massage therapist in 2005 and started to build a private client base alongside her sports development work. I am now working full time as a therapist; building The Bristol Body Repair Clinic alongside my work with The Thornbury Clinic

As a mum to two active boys a keen hockey player and general sports nut for many years, I understand the importance of looking after and maintaining your body in order for it to function optimally for as long as possible.
